Mom seemed to be doing well today. She had another dialysis treatment this morning, with better results. Her MRI showed, if I understood Randy's explaination, a small spot on her parietal lobe (the side of her head). Doctors believe it's most likely a result of the vasculitis and not a stroke. Good news.
Mom said she slept all night last night. Exactly what she needed. While I was visiting her this afternoon, she even took a little walk...from one side of her room all the way across and out into the hallway, about 5-6 steps into the hallway. Good work, mom!!
She was excitedly awaiting Rob, Lori and their family to arrive. She was telling her nurses they were coming, and bragging about her son the pilot. She's proud of you, Rob. Actually, she's proud of all her kiddies. =o)
Mom received a beautiful flower basket sent by Jolene and Jeff Hattori, friends from Kennewick. Very beautiful. Mom says "thank you so much, they're beautiful." The delivery person delivered them to her room and said "boy, I usually only deliver these to people who have died." Huh?! Well, she's far from dead, and they don't look anything like a funeral arrangement. In fact....they're almost "exotic." =o) Stay tuned for a photo.
Thank you Jolene and Jeff.
Goodnite, all. Until tomorrow.
