Yes it's been a couple of days since I've posted...a thousand pardons.

Mom started her dialysis on Friday.  She said it went okay, but she froze.  They didn't tell her to bring blankets with her, and they didn't have any extra ones there for her.  How crazy is that?  I'm thinking they should have plenty on hand for times like that.  It can't be good for the patients to get too cold. Anyway, mom said she just shivered and shivered all day after that.  Not to worry, we have her well stocked for today's treatment.

Mom's been really disoriented, mentally, lately.  Saturday was a tough day.  She was really confused about dates, events and conversations.  She was really upset at feeling like she wasn't remembering anything right.  We are hoping that it's a combination of dialysis and her oxygen levels being a little low.  She was really struggling.

Sunday, mom felt a bit better.  I saw her in the afternoon, after church.  She was sitting in her wheelchair with her feet up.  She was trying to get the swelling in her feet to go down.  Hopefully, dialysis will help with that.

Mom said her weekly schedule will be somewhat like this:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Breakfast 8a
Dialysis 9a - 12p
Lunch 12p-1p
Therapy is in the afternoon, but there isn't a set time
Dinner 5p

Tuesday/Thursday/Weekends
Breakfast 8a
No Dialysis
Lunch 12p
Therapy - afternoon
Dinner 5p

She said you can come in the afternoons.  You can also go with her to therapy and cheer her on.  If you show up a mealtime, you can go with her, and they'll even feed you, if you like.

She called both Jenny and me this morning at 7am to tell us they took out the "breathing tube".....which really meant they took out the feeding tube.  She was pretty excited about it.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers.  Pray that her memory will be restored, along with the many other things we're praying for.
