Little set back

Mom went to see the kidney doctor yesterday and she got some not so happy news.  Her kidneys aren't functioning as well as they should.  So, she has to start dialysis again...three times a week.  She was discouraged yesterday, understandably.  She's a trooper, though.  She'll get through this.  She really feels that this won't be a permanent thing.  She was "promised too many things" in her blessings.  Dad is looking into home dialysis treatment/machines (just incase).  I think that if she had to continue dialysis for a while, and she was able to go home, the home dialysis machines would be so much easier for her.
 
Marla Crestani came to see mom and gave her a makeover.  She cut and colored her hair.  She looks just beautiful.  Thank you, Marla for your thoughtfulness.  Mom feels more like her old self again.
 
Mom will find out the dialysis schedule (three times weekly - three hours each time), and her PT schedule, and we'll come up with a visitors schedule.  She thought it might has to be an afternoon/evening thing.  She's so thankful for all the visits and calls she receives.  I know it helps keep her spirits up.
 
A big thanks to the primary kids and their leaders.  Mom loves her get well poster.  It's taped up on the wall above her bed.
 
Please, in your prayers, pray for mom's kidneys to function correctly so she won't have to be on dialysis very long.
