Mom's still pretty sure she gets to come home this Friday. Keep your fingers crossed. She had an appointment with her rheumatologist yesterday. She said the doc told her that they believe the Anca Vasculitis is in remission. Yay! They're going to cut back her steroid medication from 15mg to 5mg. That should help her feel like she's got more energy. She's still working on her stair mastery. Randy installed a second set of rails on the other side of the stairs so mom will have rails to hold onto to help her get up and down the stairs. She'll still be going to dialysis three times a week for the next month or so. She is supposed to have an appointment with a surgeon to talk about implanting the dialysis port for her home dialysis treatments. Hopefully that will be soon. She also needs to get an appointment with an opthamologist. She is having trouble with her left eye. That is the eye that she kept blowing blood vessels in for the past couple of months. She is having a hard time focusing and can't watch tv or read. How boring for her. Hopefully they will be able to figure out what's going on with her eye so she can read or watch tv or do whatever she would like to do.
I guess that's it for now.
